A stunningly original and unspoilt example of the Rootes Group Hillman Super Minx Mk 11. Supplied by Henlys, Chelmsford on 25th February 1965, and still bears her original registration prefix and the Henlys supplying dealer rear window sticker. By 1971 the car had covered around 35k miles, and is believed to have taken up residence in the Ramsgate Museum in Kent, where the car lived until 2008. A supporting letter from a previous owner confirms this. A number of previous MOT certificates accompanies the history file, as well as the original handbook and Rootes Group workshop manual. All the original Union "FS" keys are still in existence, which is rare. Study the bodywork, and it is quite incredible how a car can still retain such originality after 55 years. The Forest Green, Code 86, cellulose paint still boasts amazing lustre. Drive is remarkably lively, smooth and tight. The brakes pull the car up in a straight line with no fuss.
