Key facts
Print summaryFinished in Cannock Black with Beige Leather. This stunning original factory 5 speed manual Vantage was supplied by Nortons dealership in 1967 to Wiggins and Co, Coke and Coal Merchants, Northampton, established in the area since 1919. Chassis number DB62766/R underwent a “back to birth” restoration completed in 2007. Invoices and detailed photographs are filed in the extensive history records, with work only carried out by highly respected marque specialists such as Derby Engineering, Spraytec and Panelrama etc. Engine has been fully overhauled to 4.2 litres capacity, and dyno tested to 315 BHP with test data on file. Covered 14k miles since restoration by the current and careful owner of 16 years. Fastidious care has been taken since restoration, testified by the near current concours standard of the underside. Summing up, this car presents and drives like an original DB6 Vantage would have at 3 or 4 years of age. The super straight panel work, superb door shuts and the deep gloss coachwork complimented by the lightly patinated interior simply inspires confidence from the first moment one sets eyes upon the car. Prepare for a good 2 hours if you decide to study the history file! May P/X, £279,950
